The International Trademark Association presents a 2-day, comprehensive program aimed at bringing you up to date on the latest developments concerning trademarks and the Internet.

Newtown / Pennsylvania, 6. Dezember 2001. Afilias, das Vergabe-Unternehmen der neuen Top Level Domain .info, erweitert seine Richtlinien zur Sunrise Period und zum Challenge Process mit sofortiger Wirkung. Die Sunrise Period ging der öffentlichen Registrierung voraus und war ausschließlich Inhabern von Markennamen vorbehalten. Den Sunrise Challenge Process, der von der World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) betreut wird, richtete Afilias für Domain-Konflikte zwischen Markeninhabern ein. Mit den neuen Richtlinien will Afilias sicherstellen, dass Marken tatsächlich geschützt werden.
